A personal network is where you can share information and ideas over the Internet with anyone from around the world!  A personal network is anything from a blog, Facebook, or even YouTube.  But, when using these you have to know the do's and don'ts.

When on a blog, Facebook or anywhere else you should;  -Post when you are happy -Use your first name ONLY -Post pics of yourself, friends and family with their permission
When on a blog, Facebook or anywhere else you should NOT;  -Post when you are sad or mad -Give out any personal info -Post revealing or embarrassing pics of yourself, friends or family

One thing I learned from an activity called "Life Online" is that you need to know where to draw the line when using personal networks.  It's not fun online anymore when someone commits suicide because of what others are saying.  And it's not smart to be online 24/7.  You end up saying something you regret later.

Now I'm going to tell you the pros and cons of using social networks.
Pros;  - You get to chat with friends or family who live far away - You can meet good friends - You can share music and other things
Cons; - People get in big fights and can then carry it physically - Some things impact people so much that they've committed suicide - Some people don't think about what they post and it can be nasty

Be careful what you post!
